Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge #29

This morning I ran across a challenge that I wanted to try. I'm new at Challenges from other's blogs/galleries... but I think I'll start here. This designer REALLY inspires me... her name is Taylor and she lives just a few hours north of me! And I have to say - her style TALKS to me! I've recently become her blog-stalker (definition: one who frequents others' blogs hoping there have been updates...) ... so here goes nothing.

Pictured here is her sketch for the challenge. Rules: follow the sketch and you don't have to use cupcakes (good, 'cuz I don't have any).

Pictured below the sketch is my version... and a close up shot to show the detailing on the Cuttlebug embossing folder I used as well as the dimension added w/ the Stampin' Dimensionals.

For more on Taylor's inspirational blog: http://tayloredexpressions.blogspot.com/

Details, details...
Stamp sets: Priceless and Happy Harmony (SU retired)
Colors: Basic Gray, Certainly Celery, Not Quite Navy, Old Olive and Baja Breeze
other: Cuttlebug/Diamonds in the Rough embossing folder, 2 SU circle punches, organdy ribbon (SU retired) and Stampin' Dimensionals

Cute card. I like how you used the cuttlebug embossing on the background.

Cute blog too.

So cute! I'm so glad you found your blog and if you find yourself a few hours north, we'll have to get together! Thanks for playing the challenge!

Ha! That's too funny. Her blog is one that I check about fifty times a day! Isn't she great! I love your card.
